Curriculum

Thorpe Hall follows the National Curriculum and has developed policies and schemes of work for it’s implementation (copies of which may be inspected at the school office).

We recognise that each child can achieve and through accurate assessment and careful planning we aim to ensure every child makes maximum progress.

Through the teaching at Thorpe Hall each child should:

- enjoy school and feel valued members of the school community,

- become literate and numerate,

- be able to express themselves confidently orally and in writing,

- be able to face challenges,

- develop a sense of self discipline, self esteem and self - reliance,

- cultivate the skills to be a lifelong learner,

- be able to work and play harmoniously with others,

- learn to recognise, respect and value the cultural, racial and sexual differences in society.
