Aims of the School:
At Thorpe Hall Primary, we endorse and seek to implement the aims of the
Education Reform Act, the Waltham Forest document ‘A Policy for the
Curriculum’ (1994) and the Equal Opportunities policy.
Our aim, in partnership with parents and the local community, is to give all
pupils the best start to their school career.
We offer staff opportunities and support in their professional development and
recognise their achievements.
Our aim is to provide a curriculum that is rich, varied and relevant to all our
pupils.
We have high expectations of all pupils in order to encourage the highest
levels of individual achievement. Pupil’s learning is monitored and assessed
to ensure appropriate challenges are set.
We create opportunities for children to develop as responsible and caring
individuals showing respect for others and their environment.
