At Thorpe Hall, we are working towards becoming a Unicef Rights Respecting school. We are developing our understanding of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child so that it is at the heart of our planning, policies, practice and ethos. A Rights Respecting school not only teaches about children’s rights but also models respect in all aspects of school life. At Thorpe Hall, children’s rights are taught, practised, respected, protected and promoted by all children and adults in our school community. We aim to develop pupil’s acceptance of difference and diversity and provide them with a strong moral compass based on respect.
