Absence Reporting Procedure

Reporting Pupil Sickness Absence

Parents should report absence using the Arbor Parent Portal message system to inform the school about your child's absence. The absence message must be submitted by 9:30am on each day of the child’s absence. Reporting via the app using the Message function - this can be found under the profile button. Please state your child's name, class and reason for absence in the message. Please note - this service is for reporting absence only and should not be used for other communication. Any communication relating to other matters will not be responded to. Please follow our communication procedure for all other correspondence. 

 

If you are reporting absence for more than one child, a separate message will be required for each child.
